7. Sandeep Parekh
Ex Executive Director, SEBI

Sandeep Parekh was born in 1971. He is the founder of Finsec Law Advisors, Mumbai. By profession, he is a financial lawyer.

He had worked for the Securities and Exchange Board of India, (SEBI) as an executive director. He was the youngest Indian in this post.

He is a law graduate from Delhi University and has completed his LL.M. in Securities & Finance Regulation from Georgetown University. He has been the faculty member of Indian Institute ofManagement, Ahmedabad. At persent, he is a visiting faculty member of IIM, Ahmedabad.

He has also served as the Chairman and Member of the Reserve Bank of India and has been a member of the Cabinet Secretariat Task Force and was measuring the performances various sections of the Indian government.

During 2006-2008, he was entitled as a ‘Young Global Leader’ by World Economic Forum.
