Bangalore: The Indian Film industry had completed its 100 years recently. Over this period, it delivered many talents like Raj Kapoor, Dilip Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan and many more. 1. Yash Raj Films



Yash Chopra, the ‘Movie Mogul’ of India established this company in 1976.It has more than 300 blockbusters under its carpet. Some of the everlasting names in romance come under their banner. Silsiley, Kabhie Kabhie, Deewar, Darr, DDLJ, Mohabbatein, Chandi, Veer-Zaraa are some of their most appreciated movies.



Yash Raj films are said to introduce India with pairs like Amitabh-Jaya and Shah Rukh-Kajol. After the sudden dismissal of Yash Chopra (2012), his son Aditya Chopra has taken up the responsibility.



2. Rajshri Production



Established by Tara Chand Barjatiya in 1962, this banner is better known for its family entertainment. Maine Pyaar kiya and Hum Aapke Hain Koun is the 2 greatest blockbusters from this production house. Rajshri Productions gave birth to an era called Salman Khan.



Most of their ventures reflect the Indian family cultures, values, relations as well as love in it.  Some of their other productions are, Dosti (1964), Ankhiyon Ke Jharokhon Se (1979), Nadiya Ke Paar (1982), Babul (1986), Vivah (2006).

1: The Apt title would be " 10 Prominent House for Hindi Cinema. I cant understand why Hindi Cinema means Indian Cinema...There is a very big telugu & tamil film industry....I never expected siliconindia will be this biased

when you go out of India and talk about cinema, I guess the only response one can get will be for "Bollywood" which is the Hindi Film Industry....LoL
