We go looking for quality, design and the best of price but are we aware that those price tags are manipulated so that the sellers can make huge profits by making you pay for the difference in cost incurred by them.

Surprisingly these price manipulations don’t happen to the most costly products out there but witnessed with necessary goods of everyday. Let us take a look at some of those products with the highest markups.

Beverages: Restaurants are famous for serving aerated drinks in beautiful glasses and charge you more than the price of the whole bottle they serve it from. On the other hand, we pay the price given to us on a piece of paper called the bill.

Now do you know that you are paying about 300 to 500 percent more than the actual market price for that one glass of coke? Well you are! So if you want to save on some cash, try to go with just the water serves at home.

Cosmetics: The world is so caught up with the ideology that beauty removes all woes, because of which the beauty industry is reaping cash at every turn.  In Asia alone, the beauty industry is a whopping $170 billion industry.
