PricewaterhouseCoopers, world's second largest professional services network and one of the big four auditors, as measured by 2014 revenues has come up with top rankings of the city that offers a better standard of living and business opportunities for the people who inhibit in these cities.  And if you are eager to note then here is the list of top 10 cities that offer the best in terms of business and living as compiled by Yahoo.

In 2012, approximately 25 percent of workers were employed in professional business services; 16 percent in government services; 15 percent in leisure and hospitality; 11 percent in education and health care; and 9 percent in financial activities. In 2013, GDP in the five-county San Francisco metropolitan area was $388.3 billion.

As of 2014, San Francisco has seen a small resurgence in manufacturing, with more than 4,000 manufacturing jobs across 500 companies, doubling since 2011.
