BANGALORE: India has been ranked 119th in the list of world’s most business-friendly countries, according to the Economic Intelligence Unit in the latest business environment index. The index is based on the resilience of businesses in three categories: economic output, risk quality and supply-chain management. Let’s have a look at the top 10 countries best for business:

Singapore

According to the Economic Intelligence Unit, the tiny south-east Asian island country held on to the top spot as the best place in the world to do business in, for the third year running. The EIU report also predicts that it will retain its position as the world’s most investor- friendly nation till at least 2018. Singapore has very quick processes for obtaining permits for registering properties as well as for new construction purposes, and the country also scores high on credit accessibility.
