Establishment: 1987 Affiliation: Osmania University Established by Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa Educational Society, Vivekananda School of Post-Graduate Studies started modestly with a one year course Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications, in affiliation with Osmania University. Three years later VSPGS was the first college to be granted the MCA and PGDMISCA (1990) courses by the Osmania University through its affiliation. VSPGS is also the first IGNOU Study Center {1988} in the state of Andhra Pradesh to offer the MCA program to its distance learners.
