Five students along with Dr. Rakesh Patil, Professor & Head-MBA visited the Teesside University. The main objective of this visit was to get acquaintance with the teaching pedagogy used over there in Field of Engineering & Management. The Students were Guided by Mr. Pam Whittingham, on the first day she took the students to Stephenson Building, which was the School of Engineering and Science at the Teesside University.

Over there they met Assistant Dean of the School of Engineering and Science and he held a welcome function for them and gave some details about the university and International study programs at Teesside university. After that they met Prof. Kevin Middleton who talked about Good health and Safety. After the talk it was time to perform some practical’s as most of the engineers would like to perform & it was the at Materials Laboratory. Prof. David Hughes Senior Professor for Material Science at the University introduced them to the advanced machines like "Scanning Electron Microscope" and "Diffraktometer" and explained them the working of those Machines and importance of them in the Research that are done at the University. They did Hot Casting of Aluminum and Made different Moulds, later on the cold rolling of same material was done. Prof. Manu Ramegowda interacted with students and showed the Material Hardness Testing Machine at the University which was Brinell hardness testing machine and they tested the hardness of different moulds. After seeing the various labs & some hard work the students went to city of York to spent rest of their day in and around that city enjoying all the exceptional beauty it had for them. On the next day Prof. Mohammad Kassem gave them a lecture on Risk Management in Engineering Projects.

After the session the students had a small tour inside university showing them all the different labs including the labs where Nanotechnology is done. Their they had a real working of Jet Engine in the same workshop, it was totally different to see such kind of engine with their naked eyes instead of seeing it in a picture or on television. To end the day students had an astonishing road trip to Whitby bay. The third day was day of activity & fun wherein the Head of Teesside University Business School made them face real world business virtually and putting all of them in a situation where they could do their own business and make profit through it or go in a loss.

All of them participated in this activity with their individual skills and way of thinking, some of them made a good profit out of it and some of them didnt but overall results were good because they learned a lot out of it. Fourth & last day at Teesside university went in seeing some advance machineries such as Laser Scanner , Robotic Army & Laser Cutter & also the beautiful city of Hartlepool.
