It was in the siliconindia August 2005 issue, that Naresh Gupta, Senior Vice President at Adobe, wrote about the importance of the right people with the right job for an organization’s growth and the personal growth of an employee.

Companies in their search for the right professionals and the candidates searching for that dream job converged at the siliconindia Career Fair 2005 held on August 8, 2005 at Santa Clara, CA. Over 20 top IT companies participated in the siliconindia Career Fair seeking professionals not only in software but also, hardware, testing, chip designing and senior management level. Over 300 candidates from recent graduates, mid-level to senior executives; attended the siliconindia Career Fair drawing the best of the talent in the industry.

siliconindia Career Fair panel discussion on tax and immigration issues opened lively interaction between the speakers and the audience. Tax and visa experts from the Chugh firm presented various options that H1B visa, green card holders and citizens had if they chose to move to India. Returnees Sudhir Kulkarni, MD, Informatica and Raj Srinivas, Lead, Product Development, SAP shared their experience in returning and about the opportunities in India. The panel discussion drew a variety of questions ranging from visa issues, infrastructure developments, to schooling for children in India.
