Western Digital (WD) has made a recent addition to its Caviar Green hard drive portfolio - D20EADS that boasts of 2TB capacity. Just 3.5 inch in size, the drive has its roots on WD's 500 GB/platter technology. The 2TB hard drive allows users to effortlessly store and access highresolution digital content. The Caviar hard drive has been fabricated for use in the USB/FireWire/eSATA external hard drives. Its other features include StableTrac that offers security by lowering system induced vibration, IntelliPower function that balances spin speeds, transfer rate, and cache algorithms, and IntelliSeek to calculate optimum speed for low power consumption, noise, and vibration. The 2TB WD20EADS hard drive is priced at about Rs.14,950.
