Prior to joining VerticalOne, Palaniswamy Rajan was founder, President and CEO of Emerald Systems, Inc., a technology consulting firm, and Resourcis Information Services, Inc., a technology staffing solutions firm. Rajan has a BS in computer engineering and an MS in computer science from the Florida Institute of Technology.
Most recent book read: “Against the Gods: The Remarkable Story of Risk by Peter Bernstein. This is a must-read for any entrepreneur. It's an outstanding book about the evolution of risk and man's attempt to understand it.”
Favorite book of all-time: “The Return of the Aryans by Bhagwan Gidwani. A great book contradicting the Aryan Invasion of India. The novel is both factual and entertaining.”
Most recent movie seen: “‘Entrapment’ with Sean Connery and Catherine Zeta-Jones. It was an entertaining flick on international jewel thieves.”
Favorite movie of all-time: “‘The Godfather’ series with Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, and Robert De Niro. Need I say more?”
