Microsoft has already proved itself a superhero in the gaming industry, by garnering $170 million on the first-day sales of Halo3. This time its ‘Mass Effect’ is expecting to hit next big sales of its Xbox gaming console. ‘Mass Effect’ is an action role-playing game for the Xbox 360, which was released worldwide in November. The game takes place in the year A.D. 2183, with the player assuming the role of an elite human soldier named Commander Shepard; set out to explore a vast universe on the spaceship SSV Normandy. SSV Normandy is a fictional spacecraft in the BioWare game Mass Effect, which is the player’s main means of transportation through the galaxy and offers access to the galaxy map. The sci-fi game is heavy on conversation, requiring one to interact with many individuals.
