eG Innovations was founded in 2001 by Srinivas Ramanathan, CEO and president. Prior to eG, he was a senior research scientist at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories in Palo Alto, California. He holds PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of California, San Diego; and a Masters in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai, India. He has co-authored more than 40 technical papers and is a co-inventor of 14 U.S. patents.
