Backupify’s products include all-in-one archiving, search and restore services for information stored in the most popular online services, including Google Apps, Gmail, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, LinkedIn and more. Consumers and organizations have centralized access to all of their web-based email, documents, photos and social media information all stored securely, easily searchable, and ready for instant restoration, or transfer at a moment’s notice.

Despite its flexibility and security, user error and service outages can put web-based information in jeopardy. Chadha and May started Backupify to address the needs that organizations and consumers have, as they move their information and critical business processes to web-based applications. The company currently safeguards 150 terabytes of data including, one billion emails and 250 million documents for over 150,000 users. Backed by Avalon Ventures, General Catalyst and Lowercase Capital, Backupify has raised $10.4 million.
