eBay has announced the appointment of Rajan Mehra as the Country Manager of its India operations. Previously Mehra held a joint role as Country Manager with Gautam Thakar where the former was in charge of Payments & New Ventures of eBay India while Thakar was Country Manager- eBay India Marketplace. For now, Mehra will be steering the entire eBay portfolio alone, his role including the eBay India Marketplace and the eBay India Motors Marketplace.

He has been credited for building the B2B Motors business – eBay India Motors Marketplace. As a member of eBay’s Asia Pacific Leadership team, Mehra was responsible for the strategy, incubation and management of the new business initiatives at eBay India
