RM: I work as a developer for the Catalyst 6500, which is a 4 billion dollar a year product. My team works on hardware forwarding of multicast traffic which is used on trading floors and by IPTV service providers. ST: What do you like about your job? RM: The work I do is the top-niche in the networking industry. I also have the option to choose my style of working by using the options of flexible timing, working from home, etc. ST: What do you find challenging about your job? RM: The product and technology I work with is extremely complex - it is challenging in the best way possible and keeps my mind always actively engaged. ST: What have you found that makes your job easier? RM: At Cisco, we use our own technologies like Soft phones, Telepresence to make working life a lot easier. ST: What are your hobbies? RM: Reading fantasy and detective novels, trying out different cuisines, traveling.
