Walk the talk Date:   Monday , December 31, 2007 Bangalore Marathon is quite famous among the folks in Bangalore city. However what caught equal attention was the Walkathon organized by Infosys BPO last month. It was the way this subsidiary of Infosys Technologies chose to commemorate the World Disability Day on December 3 to express solidarity for the cause of the differently abled. The theme for the occasion was ‘decent work for persons with disabilities’. The solidarity walk that began from the Mallya Hospital parking area and ended at the main entrance of Kanteerva stadium saw participation from employees, NGOs, students, and other citizens of Bangalore. The weeklong celebrations saw a series of internal and external events across Infosys BPO centers in Pune, Jaipur, Gurgaon, and Bangalore.
