Career oriented Ram Chary has donned a new role as the Executive Vice President of Global Commercial Services at FIS (Fidelity National Information Services). In his new role, he will be responsible to accelerate the growth momentum of the company by managing the business functions and profitability related to its global contact center operations, off-shore resources, technology opportunities, global supply chain operations, and commercial technology services.

Chary joined FIS in 2007 from the acquisition of eFunds, where he led the company’s Professional Services organization. Prior to eFunds, he had 13-years experience at IBM Global Services in infrastructure outsourcing and technology consulting, and also served in global operations and finance.

Being passionate about the work and well-laid out plans for future has played a significant role in his success. His leadership mantra is to think globally with the team and plan accordingly to win the game of business. On a similar note, he advises the young techies to have an overall perspective of the technology they are working on and to bring out a need for that technology.

Chary received his graduation degree in economics from the University of Colorado and a Master’s degree in Finance and Operations Management from Purdue University. Outside work, he loves to play American Football and Golf.
