With over 13 years of experience in Human Resource in various leadership capacities with companies like Arthur Andersen (now Accenture), Hewitt Associates, StorageTek (now part of Sun Microsystems), Genpact (erstwhile captive back office of GE), Monisha Tambay has been recently appointed as the Vice President - Human Resources at Subex.

At Subex, Monisha will be responsible for the global Human Resource function of the company. Her role will involve driving the agenda for the rest of the organization from an HR perspective – across all geographies. She attributes this success to her mantra of connecting with employees to establish stronger business acumen. “At leadership levels, though the opportunity and ability to spend time one on one with employees reduces, I still get the best sense of professional fulfillment when I am able to resolve an individual’s issues related to their career or development,” she says.

A person who does not regret the decisions she as made in her career, Monsiha feels that the exposure to different industries in her job has only taught her something new and different. Standing for her values, she advises the upcoming techies to develop ‘deep’ expertise in their area of interest.

An MBA in HR from XLRI, Jamshedpur, Monisha is also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt. Outside work, she loves travelling, reading and spending time with her husband and kids in her leisure.
