The Chennai Angels Invests Rs.3 Crore in Netree E-services

Bengaluru: The Chennai Angels (TCA) leads a Rs.3 Crore angel funding round in Netree E-services, a cloud Integrated, mobile only Retailer Engagement platform that helps the retail industry stake holders to interconnect directly with the small and medium retailers. Gowri Shankar Subramaniam, CEO, Aspire Systems led this funding round. The fresh funds will support NeTree's technology enhancement, business development and expansion plans. S. Mohammed Shadaan, Partner, and Dheeraj Mani, Senior Associate of Kochhar & Co. were the financial advisors for this transaction.

"Small and medium retailers either use very little technology or are not using any. They are fragmented too that there are no large organisations that provides solutions that helps them improve their productivity. Our ecosystem helps manufacturers, distributors, banks and other stake holders of the retail industry to get engaged with the last-mile retailers in real-time. The funds will be used for technology enhancement, business development and expansion," says Desi Valli, Founder & CEO, Netree.

Headquartered in New Delhi, NeTree's integrated cloud platform connects the retailers, suppliers and manufacturers with each other by reducing the number of channels required and gives them access to customers and product movement information. Also, it enables the retailers can take full control of their business along with digital payments, whilst engaging with their customers and suppliers seamlessly.
