Samsung Brings its Galaxy Tab to India

Samsung introduced its 7-inch touch screen tablet Galaxy Tab in India. Powered by Android Operating System 2.2, Galaxy Tab is smaller and lighter, weighs 380 grams, and yet has the same speed processor but twice the RAM. It is powered by a Cortex A8 1.0GHz application processor with PowerVR SGX540. For connectivity the tablet has with 3G HSPA, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. The 7-inch HD TFT-LCD screen is supported by a wide range of multimedia formats including DivX, XviD, MPEG4, H.263, and H.264. It has a 3 megapixel rear facing camera and a 1.3 megapixel front camera for video telephony. Galaxy Tab features a 512MB RAM and equipped with 16GB or 32GB inbuilt memory together with an external memory slot which supports up to 32GB of expandable memory.
