Power consumption is one of the important factors of digital-IC development as component sizes shrink and insulating layers on gates become thinner. Most SoCs (System on Chip) are developed for portable consumer devices where battery life can make or break a product. To enable the adoption of advanced low-power techniques by mainstream users, there is a need for a design flow that holistically addresses the architecture, design, verification, and implementation of low-power designs. Ineda Systems is a developer of state-of-the-art SoC integrated circuits and software. The company is a semiconductor startup engaged in developing chips specifically for wearable devices. It develops low power SoC's for the use in both consumer and enterprise applications. With offices in Hyderabad and Santa Clara, the company designs products for wearable platforms from a ground-up manner including vertical engineering of the wearable device: silicon, system, software, application ecosystem.

Founded in 2010 by Balaji Kanigicherla, the company works exclusively in the area of low-power SoC/IP development, architecture and software that is necessary to design silicon and systems that would be of use in future applications. Ineda was created by industry veterans from U.S. and India with an ultimate goal of becoming a leader in developing low power SoC's for the use in both consumer and enterprise applications. The advisory and management team has world-class experience of working in both blue chip companies as well as fast paced technology start-ups. Ineda's expertise is in the area of low-power SoC/IP development, architecture, and software that is necessary to design silicon & systems that would be of use in future applications and is working towards providing more disruptive solutions to the industry.
