Rajeev Suri has been appointed the CEO of Nokia Siemens Networks and will be based at Nokia Siemens Networks’ headquarters in Espoo, Finland. Suri who currently leads the services business of Nokia Siemens Networks brings with him over 20 years of rich experience in telecommunications industry.

Suri has been a part of Nokia since 1995 and has held numerous executive positions in Business Development, Marketing and Sales and Strategy across different geographies. In an earlier role, he was responsible for a portfolio of Nokia’s infrastructure customers in Europe and key new growth markets. He transformed the global relationship of the company with Hutchison group to bring it to a strong new level, and significantly expanded the company’s market share during his European assignments.

Prior to joining Nokia, Suri worked with ICL in India and RPG Group in corporate business development for new ventures and strategic planning. He also worked for a large conglomerate in West Africa where he headed the corporate commercial and international imports division.

Besides being passionate about business, Suri is also known to challenge existing business paradigms and is highly committed to ensuring customer satisfaction. He has a strong discipline of execution, believes in unconventional thinking and has a reputation as a dynamic and result-oriented leader. A people’s person, he is known for relentlessly building strong and diverse teams.

Besides being a voracious reader, Rajeev also enjoys music, plays tennis and likes to explore new places and cultures with his family in his spare time.
