Both series feature an HDMI port with HDCP support and come with integrated TV tuner. The Aspire Gemstone blue design integrates the second-generation Dolby Home Theater technology with powerful audio technologies – CineSurround, Tuba CineBass booster, and True 5.1 output. The line comes with the brand new CineDash media console, a touch-sensitive interface. Users can opt for Blu-Ray Disc or a DVD-Super Multi double-layer drive for their laptops.
On selected models, the Aspire 8920G comes bundled with a VoIP Bluetooth phone; a device that can be used as a normal cell phone connected to the notebook through Bluetooth connections, or can be placed on any desk or surface and used as a speakerphone. With a battery life estimated at 2.5 hours on the 16-inch machine and three hours on the 18.4 inch machine. Acer Aspire 6920 cost varied between Rs.49, 999 to Rs.59, 999. Priced at Rs.79, 999, Acer Aspire 8920G will be launched shortly in Indian market.
