# New Intel Mobile Chips

Intel unveiled three new chips, that will power the next generation of portable computing devices. The three variants are x3, x5, and x7. It is being said that the company is following the same naming practices as it has followed for core series.

X3 is suitable for Smartphones with fewer requirements for computing and which generally cost less than $150. X5 is suitable for high performance tablets, which are between the range of $150 and $350 sporting resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. X7 is meant for extreme performance tablets.

# Fujitsu Smartphone with Iris Scanner

Password protection and pattern locking feature were common among Android Smartphones. Now, Fujitsu has launched an iris scanner as a measure to increase the safety in Android phones. The new technology uses infrared to scan the iris.

So far, iris scanning is a better as well as faster medium of authentication. It is faster than fingerprint reading and facial recognition. The new infrared-based scanning technology is proving to be safer for people who do not apply any security simple because typing password is time consuming.
