Bangalore: Rumors! Rumors from Apple regarding their products kept popping up with such consistency that sometimes we wished that Apple would release new goodies at such speed.
Since Steve Jobs death and the WWDC 2012 the gadget world has been alive with rumors about the iPhone5 and iPad Mini. The latest rumor to hit the web is that the much awaited iPhone5 and the rumored iPad Mini will launched on September 12th, 2012. Apple focused blog iMore says that these products according to speculation will be available to purchase on 21st September 2012.
The website quotes "sources who have proven accurate in the past" to say that Apple is holding a special event on Wednesday, September 12 to unveil the new iPhone, as well as the iPad mini, the much-rumored smaller version of the iPad.
The same websites goes on to say that even the rumored iPad Mini will also be available in the markets along with the new iPhone.
The last quarter for Apple saw a drop in the sale of their iPhone4S as everyone is eagerly waiting for the iPhone5, so no one wants to invest in previous model.
Apple has a lot on stake on their new iPhone. The fans are expecting a complete change in the phone, a bigger screen and added features as well.
Even though Steve Job wasn’t in favor of a 7-inch iPad, Apple is rumored to be going ahead with its production. This would further help Apple cement its place as a market leader in tablet PCs. With arrival of budget 7-inch tablets like Amazon Kindle and Google’s Nexus 7 has suddenly changed market preference to a smaller tablet that easily fits into bags unlike an iPad.
Now we just have to wait for another month to find out if these rumors are true or not.
