iPad Mini: What to Expect?

Bangalore: Apple has sent out press invite for its upcoming event on October 23 with a caption saying, ‘We’ve got a little more to show you.’ This invite could mean that Apple has many gadgets for this year which includes the much hyped and rumored smaller iPad or so called iPad Mini.

For past few months, rumors of iPad Mini have surfaced on almost daily basis like leaked photos and specification, a smaller design similar to iPod touch, camera on both front and back, cellular network support and many more. However, with the press invite send we can be pretty sure than that the device will launch on the specified date. Still now we know very little about the device, but here are our best guesses what the iPad Mini could have.

Screen Resolution 

Rumors say that the iPad Mini will sport a 7.8 inch display, making it larger than 7 inch typical tablet. The screen will have a resolution of 1,024 x 768 pixels which is the same resolution of iPad 2. Making the screen resolution similar to the iPad 2 will help to run iPad 2 apps seamlessly out of the box.
