iMessage Spam: Blackberry Takes A Dig At Apple


BANGALORE: Over several reports claiming that messaging spams are on the rise, iMessage, you see, today is yet another communications tool being polluted by spammers.

Whether or not it's actually a problem for iPhone users, rival BlackBerry has wasted no time is taking full advantage on this issue and also went an extra mile by reminding its users about the security of its messaging platform, BBM.  To further make it clear to its users, the Canada based company also gave five reasons why consumers should prefer BlackBerry Messenger over iMessage,reports Sam Colt of Business Insider.

As iMessage works off with phone number or Apple ID, anyone who has your contact in the list can send you messages irrespective of whether you want them to or not. But that’s not the same with Blackberry’s BBM. The BBM messenger app has a whole lot of process going through it and users have a lot more control due to its invite and accept option. In other words, individuals using BBM need to have a two way contacting process in order to send and receive messages.
