iBall Rolls Out Dual-SIM Tablet 'Slide Wings'


BENGALURU: As observed, Indian consumer electronics manufacturer — iBall is introducing new products every week.  The company recently announced its latest tablet ‘Slide Wings’ in Indian domestic market. Priced at 7,999, the tablet has 3G connectivity, voice calling and dual SIM support.

Supported by ARM Cortex A7 processor and combined with Mali 400 MP GPU, Slide Wings has 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM with the expandable option of up to 32GB via microSD card. The tablet has 5-megapixel rear facing camera in-built with a range of features including Face beauty, Live Photo, Face Detection, Multi-angle Panorama, Smile Shot and Auto scene detection. It has 2-megapixel front facing camera for video calling.

On the design side, Slide Wings is offering full capacitive multi-touch 8-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280*800 pixels with 189ppi pixel density. Powered with 4,300mAh Li-Polymer battery, iBall has claimed that the tablet delivers up to 14-hours talk-time on 3G networks and offers continuous video playback support for up to 4.5-hours.  The phone has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS support.

Slide Wings has multi-lingual keyboard with 21 Indian regional languages’ support and is pre-loaded with several applications including Facebook, WhatsApp, Hungama Play and games like Asphalt Nitro.

iBall launched its economic smart phone Andi 5L Rider for just 4,699 last week. The phone features 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM with 2300 mAh battery. Equipped with 1.3GHz quad-core processor, Andi 5L has 5-inch display, 5-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front camera.
