iBall Launches Two Dual-SIM Smartphones at 6,990

Bangalore: iBall has launched two new dual-SIM Android phone under its Andi series. The two new phones Andi 3e and Andi 4d have been launched as budget phones, priced at 6,990 and 9,490 respectively.

1. Andi 3e

And 3e is a dual SIM Android phone which runs on the 2.3.5 Gingerbread Android version. The phone has a 3.2 inch capacitive touch screen, 3.2 megapixel camera rear camera as well as a VGA front end camera. The device runs on a 650 MHz processor, supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G and has an expandable memory of up to 16 GB with MicroSD card slot.

An additional feature that the iBall Andi 3e comes with is “breathing light”. This feature makes the phone glow in different colours for different functions, for example it would glow a different colour for an incoming call, SMS or music. The handset comes in a Special Wine color.

2. Andi 4d

Andi 4d is a bigger and more powerful phone when compare to Ando 3e. Andi 4d runs on 2.3.5 Gingerbread and is powered by a 1 GHz processor. It has a 4-inch screen and comes along with a 5 megapixel camera. The phone also has a front facing camera and expandable memory storage of up to 16 GB through microSD card. Like the Andi 3e it comes with GPS support, Wi-Fi.3G as well s Bluetooth.

Both the phones also come with G-Sensor, proximity sensor and a light sensor.

The budget smartphone segment has already reached its saturation in the matter of number of companies offering similar phones with similar features. About whether the two new phones from iBall will be able to capture the market and win the appreciation from the buyers waits to be seen.  Though the handsets are very reasonable they don’t have any outstanding features that would win over buyers.  So if the phone wants to make an impact in the market it has to be done with its performance, features and battery life.
