iBall Launches Phablet At 14,999


Bangalore: iBall, the Indian manufacturer has launched its dual SIM phablet  Andi 5.5N2 priced at 14,999 which is available at a best buy price of 13,499.

The Andi 5.5N2 runs on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, has a 12-mp rear autofocus camera, 2-mp front camera, a 5.5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display, 4GB inbuilt storage which can be expanded to upto 32GB via a microSD card, 1GB RAM, runs on a quad-core 1.2GHz Cortex A7 processor, and  has a 2500mAh battery. The other features of the Andi 5.5N2 include flip to mute gesture control and a variety of sensors like gravity, proximity and light. The connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE, GPS, Micro-USB and 3G HSPA+. iBall is promoting  the Andi 5.5N2's wireless display connectivity, but no reference is made to the technology used. It is currently available in a white model.

Prior to the launch of Andi 5.5N2, iBall had introduced the Android based smartphones Andi 4.5-K6, Andi 5-E7 and Andi 5-M8 priced at 7,395, 8,199 and 8,999 respectively in the Indian market.
