Zync Launches 9.7-Inch Voice Calling Tablet in India


Bangalore: The Indian tablet maker, Zync Global has launched a new 9.7 inch tablet called Zync Z1000 in India for 10,990.

The Zync Z1000 is powered with Cortex A8 processor at a clock speed of 1.5 GHz coupled with 1 GB of RAM and currently runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, but company promises to upgrade it with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system.

"This is our first attempt of launching a tablet with a multi-touch HD display, with a higher screen resolution and face-unlocking feature. As of now, the product is running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich but it can be upgraded onto the latest Android 4.1 Jellybean platform in the coming months,” said Ashish Garg, director, Zync Global.

It houses a 9.7 inch IPS panel display with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels resolution. The tablet comes with a SIM card slot for voice calling support and built in 3G. It features 0.3 mega pixel front facing camera, 2 mega pixel rear camera, 8 GB on internal storage, a microSD card slot for expanding memory up to 32 GB. In terms of connectivity it comes with mini HDMI, two micro USB ports, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
