YuFit Vs Mi Band: Clash Of Budget Fitness Trackers

BANGALORE: The sister company of Micromax Mobiles, Yu Televentures, unveiled their version of fitness band just like Xiaomi. The fitness trackers are named as YuFit Band and Mi Band by Yu Televentures and Xiaomi respectively. On an interesting note, both the wearable gadgets cost the same at 999 but it would be a bit tricky to choose between them, reports IntellectDigest.

Compatibility

Both devices are compatible with popular Smartphone operating systems like Android and iOS through Bluetooth. The YuFit pairs with Healthify Me app whereas Mi Band pairs with Mi Fit app, both the apps are developed by respective companies and are easily available in Play Store and App Store.

Functions

The trackers offer similar functions of tracking steps and sleep cycle including distance travelled and calories burnt in a day. The Yu fitness band has an upper hand with OLED display which can also act as a wrist watch and the band notifies the calls and messages. On the other hand, Mi Band sports three LED lights to signify certain notifications.

The battery on the Mi Band lasts more than 30 days with moderate use on a single charge. On the other hand, YuFit band hasn’t come out in the market and its battery capacity yet to be revealed.

Price

As mentioned earlier, both the devices are priced at 999. The YuFit will be available to buy from June 2015 on official website of the company. Yu sweetens their fitness band deal with free assistance from trainers and coaches for first 1000 buyers. However, Mi Band is on sale since this May and available only on Tuesdays in a flash sale on official Mi website.
