Xolo Q 2000, Q-core 5.5-Inch Phablet Launched At 14,999


Bangalore: The new phablet from Xolo, named Q 2000, which was spotted Friday on Company’s website got unveiled today. It is a 5.5 inch phablet at 720x1280 pixel resolution, boasting pixel density of 267ppi. The device follows the Xolo’s new found obsession with quad-core processors, sports a 1.2GHz MediaTek 6589W processor which is coupled with 1GB RAM and PowerVR SGX544 GPU. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean mobile platform.

Q 2000 comes with 8 GB of internal memory which can be further expanded to 32 GB via microSD card. The device also sports impressive optics, and has a 13-megapixel rear autofocus camera with a 'BSI 2' sensor and flash, with image stabilisation, HDR, low light enhancement and vertical-horizontal Panorama capture. There is also a 2-megapixel front-facing camera onboard for video calls. The Xolo Q2000 packs a 2600mAh battery which the listing claims can deliver up to 17 hours of talktime and up to 520 hours of standby time.

The phablet comes with the connectivity options such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and A-GPS. The micro USB port supports USB on-the-go.

The Xolo Q 2000 is the newest addition to the company’s existing ‘Q’ list which includes Q700, Q600, Q1000, Q1000S, Q800 and the recently launched Xolo Q900, all of which are powered by quad-core processors.

The phablet is to compete with likes of Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 and Spice Pinnacle Stylus.
