Xolo Play Tegra Note Tablet To Launch In October, At Rs. 16,999: Report

Bangalore: NVIDEA is all set to release the much-awaited Xolo Play Tegra Note Tablet in India. As reported by Gizmodo, the device will be launched to the market by mid-October. Sunil Raina, Business Head at Xolo informed that the tablet is priced between 15,000 and 20,000 but sources confirmed the price tag of the device to be 16,999.

The 7-inch Xolo tablet is powered by Tegra 4 SoC plus Cortex A15 Quad-Core processor and 72-core GeForce GPU. It runs on Android Jelly Bean OS and packed with 1GB RAM alongside 16GB internal memory which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The device arrives with a built in stylus and a flexible flip cover which can be folded and used as a stand for better grip and viewing angles.

The tablet sports a HD display with 1280×800 pixels resolution. It has an impressive 5-megapixel primary camera on the rear side and a secondary VGA shooter on the front. NVIDEA has adopted SmugMug’s Camera Awesome App that lets users to ‘awesomize’ photos on a single tap. Tegra Note brings cool features like focus tracking that keeps the focus on a subject even when the camera is moved. The rear camera offers HD video streaming and the device manufacturer claims the tablet can survive 10 long hours of continuous video playback.
