Xiaomi Unveils Redmi Note 3 With A Full Metal Body




BANGALORE: Xiaomi Unveils the Redmi Note 3 at an event that took place in China National Convention Center in Beijing.

The Redmi Note 3 will be sold in two variants – one is powered by a 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory with a price tag of CNY 899 (approximately 9,500) and another comes with much powerful 3GB RAM accompanied by a 32GB on board storage at CNY 1,099 (approximately 11,500). The Chinese firm did not announce the plans of launching this device in Indian market yet.

The new Redmi Note 3 sports a 5.5-inch FHD Sunlight Display and it is said to be "fully-laminated display", a kind of screen protection. It runs on Android based MIUI 7 and has a thickness of 8.65mm. Xiaomi boasts that the phone comes with a full metal body  and a fingerprint scanner that can detect the fingerprint in just 0.3 seconds according to the company.

Much like other Android powered Smartphones in the market, the latest Redmi Note 3 features fast charging and it can charge from 0 to 50 percent in 1 hour. The novel Xiaomi phone houses a huge 4,000mAh battery.

As far as the specifications are concerned, the new phone uses the 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 processor. Moving to camera specs, it sports a decent 13MP primary shooter with two-tone flash and a 5MP front-facing camera which completes the package. The firm promises to deliver this device in Gold, Silver and Dark Grey.
