Xiaomi To Launch Mi 4 Smartphone In India On January 28


BANGALORE: For a company which is four years old, and works only in Asia, it is remarkable how much Xiaomi has improved, reports FirstPost.

Xiaomi is the leading smartphone seller in China and also in the Indian market. Now Xiamoi is planning to release the Mi 4 in India on January 28, which was confirmed by The Head of International operations for Xiaomi, Hugo Barra, he said it to Economic Times.

Though, the Mi 4 was launched last year, though it never made it to India.

Xiaomi Mi 4 featues a 5-inch and 1920 x 1080 pixels IPS display with 441 ppi resolution. It is protected by  Gorilla Glass 3 and powered by a 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor and has 3GB RAM.

The phone comes with an 8MP front-facing camera with Sony Exmor R sensor and a rear camera with LED Flash, Sony IMX214 BSI sensor and also 4K video recording.

The device is equipped with 16GB or 64GB internal storage space and runs with Android 4.4.3 KitKat pre-installed, with a layer of the MIUI OS skin.

Connectivity wise, it includes 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4/5 GHz), WiFi Direct, Bluetooth and GPS and has a 3080 mAh battery. The device measures 139.2 x 68.5 x 8.9mm and weighs 149 grams.
