Xiaomi May Launch Mi 5 and Redmi Note 2 on Nov 24

BANGALORE: Here’s some exciting news from Xiaomi that is the firm has scheduled an event on November 24^th in China. In this event the China’s leading Smartphone maker is expected to launch two new handsets – Mi 5 and the Redmi Note 2 Pro, reports ZeeNews.

The event of Xiaomi has been confirmed but the company has not spilled any beans over the release of Smartphones. On the other hand, many rumoured reports suggest that Mi 5; a high-end flagship and Redmi Note 2 Pro; mid-range flagship phabet will be unveiled at the November 24 event.

The entry passes for the Xiaomi event, will be made available starting from Wednesday at a cost of $30 each.

According to the other reports, the flagship, Mi 5 Smartphone will come powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC coupled with 3GB RAM. Also the Mi 5 is expected to hit market by the end of this year along with the launch of flagship Mi Pad 2 tablet.

The mid-range flagship phabet, Redmi Note 2 will be house a MediaTek MT6795 Helio X10 processor alongside 2GB of RAM. Reports suggest that Redmi Note 2 will have 16GB internal memory and sport a 13MP primary shooter and a 5MP front-facing camera.

Both the devices are expected to run on Android 5.0 Lollipop and Redmi Note 2 is expected to come with a 3060mAh battery.
