Xiaomi Launches Mi3, Redmi 1s and Redmi Note, Bets Big On India

BANGALORE: The Chinese Smartphone maker Xiaomi, who officially marked its presence in India, has announced a wide range of products for the Indian market that includes the Mi 3, Redmi Note and Redmi 1S. With this launch, the company has gone for kill by posting tough challenge that the local brands like Micromax, Xolo and Karbonn will find hard to respond, reports NVO News.

Xiaomi that launched three handsets in different categories has certainly created many doubts in the minds of the Indian Smartphone makers who right now have no answer to respond.  Additionally, the company has also priced the three handsets lower compared to the handsets launched by the Indian companies and they are poised to compete with handsets launched by international players.

As these handsets don’t look like the cheap rip-off of those pricey handsets made by other Smartphone makers, these phones might go on to become trendsetters, as the Chinese Smartphone giant is expected to sell as many as 70 million Smartphones in this fiscal year.

The cheapest of Xiaomi’s Smartphone line-up is priced at 6999 exactly the same price that Motorola sells its Moto E and the best at 13999.
