World's Thinnest Smartphone To Be Unveiled Tomorrow


Bangalore: Huawei is all set to launch the world’s thinnest Smartphone tomorrow at an event in London. Dubbed as P6, the Smartphone will bring high end specifications in a carefully designed metal chassis at a thickness of 6.2mm.

According to the specifications, the device will have a 4.7-inch display with resolution of 720p making 321 ppi. The 1.5 GHz Hass K3V2 quad-core processor is backed by 2 GB RAM. An 8 MP Autofocus rear camera and a 5 MP front camera ornament the device which will run on Android’s latest 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The phone will have internal memory of 8GB, which can be expanded to 32 GB via MicroSD card. A 2000 mAH Lithium Polymer battery will be the power source.

According to a Huawei post, the Smartphone will come along with a protective case as official accessory. Compared to the latest Samsung Galaxy S4, Huawei Ascend P6 will be a lot thinner and weigh almost 10 gm less. The company has not yet revealed any information on the pricing, however being a budget friendly manufacturer, let’s expect the phone not to follow the track of BlackBerry or iPhone
