Tough Competition: Xiaomi Mi4 Vs Samsung Galaxy S6

BENGALURU: 2015 is a year, which is dedicated to 3GB RAM Smartphones. With such super fast Smartphones, the price plays an extremely important role. Xiaomi Mi4 LTE and Samsung Galaxy S6 represent almost same specification but with a big difference in price. Which Smartphone would you choose to buy? Display and Camera

Xiaomi Mi4 comes with a 5-inch display along with 441 pixels per inch, giving it a very crisp display. However, Galaxy S6 comes with even more superior quality display with 577 pixels per inch and has a 5.1-inch display screen.

Mi4 sports 13-megapixels rear camera and 8-megapixels front-facing camera. On the other hand, S6 comes with a 16-megapixels rear camera but the real difference arises because of the modes supported by S6. The new phone from Samsung comes with Burst Mode, Digital Zoom, Optical image stabilization, and Slow motion.

Battery and Performance

Samsung suffered some loss because of the complaints in Galaxy S5 because of the overheating due to Snapdragon chipset, so, Samsung ditched the chipset and went along using its own chipset in the new S6. Now, S6 comes with 32-bit Exynos chipset and an octa-core CPU clocked at 2.1GHz. Mi4 comes with a Snapdragon chipset, which has 2.5GHz speed.

Both the Smartphones comes with a 3GB RAM with a slight difference between the battery capacity. Mi4 comes with 3080mAh lithium ion battery but S6 comes with 2550mAh battery. Xiaomi has a stand by time of 280 hours and S6 lasts about one entire day of usage.

Conclusion

Both Smartphones offer really good Specification but the difference in price changes everything. Xiaomi Mi4 LTE can be bought for $471, whereas Samsung Galaxy S6 is available for $970, which is almost double of Mi4. For the price conscious, Mi4 is the better deal but for loyal Samsung fans, S6 is the right Smartphone.
