Toshiba lightens business notebook

Bangalore: Toshiba has come out with their business laptops, Tecra R840 and R850 which are thinner and lighter and are added with Intel's latest core processor for making the performance of the pro notebook better. Both the laptop has been reduced in size which makes it lighter compared to the other laptops such as Lenovo or Dell. TecraR840, 14 inch, and TecraR850, 15.6 inch, even after all the reductions have a few additions made to them which uplift these designs of notebooks. A fiberglass-plastic blend which is lighter and stronger than plastic, LCD display supported by LED backlit with a resolution of 1366x768 pixels, display has a matte finish which gives a richer look along with a anti glare display and has a airflow which pushes out the hot air. Along with the TecraR840 and R850, R830, 13.3 inch, is another laptop that was reduced in size and made thinner and lighter along with a provision for letting the laptop cool down through the airflow system. The 3 systems are well powered with Intel core I series i3, i5 or i7 along with a Intel HD graphic or ATI discreet graphic card with 4 GB memory which expands to 8GB for extra performance. The battery life of these laptops runs from 9 hours to 15 hours with 6 cell battery. All the three designs of laptop, R840, R850 and R830 are priced at different rates depending on the configuration. R850 ranges from $879 to $1,399 while R840 ranges from $899 to $ 1,479 where as R830 ranges from $ 1.049 to $1,649.
