Toshiba Unveils Glass-Free 3D TV for 12 Lakh

Bangalore: Toshiba has launched a large screen glass-free 3D TV which the company claims to be the world’s first 55-inch glass-free 3D television. The TV is named as the ‘RZ1’ and comes with a hefty price tag of 12lakhs.

This 55-inch luxury comes with large viewing angles which is wide enough for a large group of viewers viewing the screen from different angles to have full-3D experience. The TV comes with 9,000,000:1 contrast ratio and promise to deliver four-time better full-HD 2D experience compared to other conventional TVs out there in the market.

Toshiba RZ1 is engineered with Regza engine CEVO DUO S and has company’s multi-processor platform. This high-end TV is clocked with a special application for face tracking which optimizes viewing zones to align them with viewers’ actual position in front of the screen.

Along with this major launch the company has revealed six other models under its new 'Thinking LED' range. Toshiba has also added various other new TV models ranging from 19-inch to 55-inch within a price range of 10,000 to 12,00,000.
