The World's First Layered Phone: Lenovo Vibe X2 Review

BENGALURU: Lenovo launched its First ‘Layered’ phone “Vibe X2” for 19,999 which will be exclusively available on e-commerce site Flipkart. The Vibe X2 is the first phone to be launched in India after Lenovo’s deal with Motorola. So let’s find out if it is a worthy buy by analyzing the main aspects of the phone as compiled by the Times of India.

# Build Quality

Most of the phones these days look like rectangular boxes, but Lenovo has developed something different by giving it layers in the sides making it completely unique compared to other phones. The three colors in the layers are Orange, Golden and red which is surely a distraction when matched with the other phones in the market.

The Phone weighs up to 120 grams and feels very light and is either very fragile or flimsy in build. The right edge of the phone has metallic keys for volume control and power. They have the same color as the layer they are placed on and offer good tactile feedback. On the left edge there is sim card slot, which can accommodate both Micro and the nano sims.
