The Next Generation iPhone To Cost More Than 53, 000

BANGALORE: For all the Apple fans in India out there, the wait for the next generation iPhone is over. The company has announced that the iPhone 6 will hit the shelves in the Indian market starting from October 17. It has listed Airtel and Aircel as the sellers of the iPhone 6 as reported by the Rediff.

Apparently, Apple has still not announced the price list for India where the iPhones are priced higher. As far as the launch in U.S is concerned, the price continues to be same for the new iPhone models at $650 for the starting one. Previously iPhones were offered in 16, 32 and 64GB storage versions, but now there is no 32GB. The Available options are 64 and 128GB storage options on the iPhone 6.

However, if Apple’s previous pricing strategy is to be considered, the iPhone 6 model with a 4.7-inch screen will be cost 53, 500 for the 16GB, 62, 500 for the 64 and 71, 500 for the 128GB. On the other hand, if you need the bigger iPhone 6 with a 5.5-inch screen you need to shell out about 9000 more on it and the prices will remain at 62, 500 for the 16 GB, 71,500 for the 64 and 80, 500 for the 128 GB.

Considering all the hype around the iPhone 6, is it the best buy out there? This is can be a complicated one to answer, if you look at the hardware and features on the phone, there are a lot of other smartphones which offer you much cheaper deals with lot more features on it.  But if you consider its stature and reputation in the market the iPhones rule over all the other phones and with its new operating system ‘iOS 8’ on the iPhone 6, it plans to raise its level in the market.
