#Google’s Android one phones

Google has unveiled its first set of Android One phones in the Indian market. The first Android One low cost Smartphones from the search giant Google, are offered in partnership with Indian hardware vendors Spice, Micromax, and Karbonn. This is the initial step of Google in its endeavor to bring good Smartphones at an affordable price to the larger populations. The company also promises to keep the phone updated with the latest updates for the next 2 years and is offered at priced not more than 7,000.

The device sports a 4.5-inch IPS FWVGA (480x854p) display and is based on Google’s reference design hardware. Being powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek quad-core processor, Mali-400MP GPU and 1GB RAM, the phones have 4GB internal storage and a microSD card slot that supports cards up to 32GB capacity.

The Android One phones come with a 5MP rear camera with LED flash, which support for Full HD video capture and a 2MP front-facing camera. 1700mAh battery fuels the devices, while being preloaded with Flipkart, Flipkart eBook, and Facebook apps along with Smartpad for Indian language input.
