BANGALORE: HTC, the Taiwanese Smartphone manufacturer brings in its competitor to take on the successful Moto G. The Desire 516 is the newest addition to the competitive Smartphone market with a view to offer good features at a competitive price, reports Rediff.

The HTC Desire 516 comes with a 5-inch multi-touch display that has a resolution of 540x960 pixels, offering a 220 PPI pixel density. The phone runs on Android version 4.2 Jelly Bean with the HTC Sense UI on top of it, and comes with a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front snapper. Packed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad core processor, it clocks a speed of 1.2GHz while boasting 1GB of RAM. On the storage side, the phone offers 4GB of internal memory, which is expandable up to 32GB.

Its connectivity features include 3G, Wi-Fi, USB and a dual-sim slot. The phone is powered by a 1950 mAh battery that provides around 9 hours of talk time and a standby time of about 220 hours.

Priced at 14,500, the Desire 516 is a mid-range phablet from a trusted brand that couples good hardware with excellent features.
