Steps To Backup Your Android Smartphone


BANGALORE: What is the next thing you think of doing, if your phone crash or gets stolen other than worrying about the cost of a new one? It is about backup, how you can restore all your data back in some place.

For back up you need to link your phone to cloud. Once you sync your account in a new handset, all the data will be back as before.

There are some third party apps such as titanium and helium available for data backup from android phones. So here we present you  some steps to back up your data on cloud, reports NDTV.

On your handset, go to Settings and then Accounts & sync.

Tick mark "Auto-sync data". Next, tap on Google and then to your Gmail ID you used to sign onto the phone.

Through this you can turn on the options so that all your Google related information gets synced to the cloud. This includes your contacts, photos (uploaded to Google+, privately if you want), app data, calendar events, Chrome tabs, your Google Fit data and more.

Now go to Settings > Backup & Reset.

Check for back up my data.

By doing this the data will be automatically be uploaded daily and also the Wi-Fi password or any other all of it will be saved on it.
