BENGALURU: Its good news for all the Sony fans out there, as it has launched another Smartphone the Xperia A4 for the Japanese carrier NTT Docomo. This phone carries similar specs as the Xperia Z3 Compact and the pricing details have not been out as yet, reports NDTV Gadgets.
The Sony Xperia A4 comes with a 4.6-inch Triluminos display boasting a resolution of 1280x720 Pixels with X-Reality engine. Powered by a 2.5GHz Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC processor, it is supported by a 2GB of RAM along with an Adreno 330 GPU unit.
On the Camera front, pictures can be shot with a 20.7 MP rear camera and 2.2MP front facing snapper which is very much alike to the Sony Xperia Z3 and the Z3 Compact. Storage can be done on a 16GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 128GB.
A 2600 mAh battery powers the Xperia A4 and the phone weighs around 129 grams. The connectivity side consists of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, 4G LTE and Micro USB. Like all the other high end phones, the device is dust and water proof too.
This Sony phone comes in Grey, Pink, Blue and White color options and is presently available for pre-orders via NTT Docomo which will begin shipping by mid-June.
