Sony Launches Xperia SP For Rs.27,490

Bangalore: Japanese electronic giant, Sony has launched its Xperia SP Smartphone in India, which was announced globally in March 2013. After the release of its high-end flagship Smartphones Xperia Z and Xperia ZL last month, it has come up with a mid-range based handset, priced at 27, 490

The phone sports a 4.6-inch HD 1280*720p display with Mobile BRAVIA engine 2 technology, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Pro based dual-core processor with 1.7GHz CPU speed. It runs on Android mobile OS v4.1 Jelly Bean and houses 8.0 megapixel rear camera with exclusive Exmor mobile image sensor, 16X zoom, LED flash, 3D Sweep Panorama, Full HD video recording and a secondary VGA camera on the front.

The device is made of co-moulded aluminium chassis and has a thickness of 10mm. The transparent strip below the screen changes color depending on the caller and has a camera key on the right. The phone will be available in stores from mid-April and comes with Sony LIV video streaming app that gives users access to over 77 Sony TV shows.
