Sony Launches Cyber-Shot RX 10 III Super-Zoom Camera


BENGALURU: Here’s some good news for the photography enthusiasts out there, Sony has launched their Cyber-Shot RX 10 III Super-Zoom Camera in India priced at 1, 14,990. The new camera brings in lots of improvements compared to its competitors in the market with triple lens rings for accurate focus on the picture, reports NDTV gadgets.

On the specification front, the Sony Cyber-shot RX 10 III sports a 20.1 megapixel lens stacked CMOS sensor with the best bit of the camera being the 24-600mm zoom lens offering 25x optical zoom. It comes with Sony’s Bionz X image processor and the stretched out zoom gives out 8 ED glass elements to improve the picture quality.

On the other hand, the Super-Zoom camera gets a DRAM chip letting the camera process huge amount of data quickly. The chip is placed behind the ISO sensor allowing the RX 10 III capture slow motion videos at 240fps, 480fps and 960fps.

The RX 10 III comes with 4K video recording, an OLED electronic viewfinder boasting a resolution of 2.35 million dots with dust and water resistance. Connectivity can be done via Wi-Fi and NFC and the camera is fitted with a modified hand grip for better support and a button to lock the focus. It is equipped with a 64-12,800 ISO sensitivity range which allows burst mode to shot at 14 fps. Based on the reports on Indiatoday, the RX 10 III has dedicated movie recording features like Picture Profile, S-Gamut/S-Log2, Gamma Display Assist, enhanced Zebra function, clean HDMI output, TC/UB, REC Control, Dual REC, and Marker function.
